Vinaros is well known for its beaches and its relaxed “Calas” or “small beaches” in the southern area of Vinaros.

If you are looking to stay in a relaxed place and away from the crowds, you can rent a house in the South area. These area is where the large houses with swimming pools are located. For us, the southern area which is called “Cala Puntal” is the best place to stay because it has a pedestrian lane and a cycle path connecting this area to the city center, which is very good for walking around the sea and the beaches. In addition, there are 3 or 4 restaurants in the neighborhood and Carrefour supermarket is 600mts away.
The northern area is also a good place, but it does not have a pedestrian or cycle path, moreover it is more cutthroat than Cala Puntal.
Finally, you can stay in the city center. The good thing about staying downtown is that you are close to everything from shops to restaurants. As you can imagine, there are more people in this area than in Cala Puntal.
